2nd day of school!
Another NTU student committed suicide yesterday. At her house. She jumped off the balcony. IF you want to read the article (it's in chinese) it's here. She's from HSS. Humanities and social sciences. Not sure why she committed suicide but the report says she had been contemplating it earlier on. And she ran to the balcony and just jumped down while her parents were in the house. WOAH.That's guts man.
Anyway, school started yesterday. I have a really relaxed semester... compared to last semester. It feels so weird! Haha. And my laptop had a virus (blue screen of death freaked me out) so we changed the hard drive, upgraded the RAM and after lots of $$ spent, it is fixed.
All my bookmarks are gone, I don't even know if I even backed up my pictures? But everything is gone. And my thumbdrive which is suspected to be the cause of it all (my friend put a file in it which had a virus. ARG) is banned from entering any usb port at home. which means my resume is also gone. sucks. unless i use it in the FAL which would infect everyone. haha!
Hope everyone had a good new year. This year I will have to do my internship from may to july! and there is the youth olympic games in august! and of course, UNIVERSAL STUDIOS!!
Life is pretty much great right now. I wish I could go swimming though.
Today during marketing lecture my teacher played bee gees and pearl harbour-there you'll be during the break. we all expected him to show something funny but turns out, he was just entertaining himself. hahah. and apart from freezing in the LT, it was quite enjoyable!
205 (risk management) is ok so far... they showed this video of a guy stripping and we were asked to analyse it. haha. ok fine he was stripping to surprise his wife for some ***. but still. it was funny. and weird that we were analysing it.
glad i get to see my friends again! even though i am not in the same class with my year 1 friends (first time!) oh well, we all grow up!
