Launch of Magnum's Dessert bar at Ion Orchard!

Magnum threw a party to welcome its 2 luxurious new additions to its range of super-premium Magnum Temptation ice creams and the opening of its Dessert bar at Ion Orchard!

Magnum lovers can head to 2am:dessertbar at Holland Village until 10 June 2012, to taste the full Magnum Temptation Menu created by Chef Janice Wong! Be sure to check it out before it ends!


I was there early so I caught a photo with Linda Black, Ollie Pettigrew and Zurina Bryan! We were joking how we never saw each other at events before that week and now we see each other everywhere. Hahah.


Charmaine and I hit the bar straightaway to check out what special cocktail concoctions they had in store!!


We were waiting patiently for our drinks... by snapping pictures.



When we saw the mixologist take out the jar of nutella, we SQUEALED. nutella in our drink?!?! the drink was awesome already.


Finished product! See the gold specks on top? They're supposedly gold. I'm guessing gold can't digest in our body and probably will be passed out... but anyway, these were good!! Strong too.


The dessert bar features a Magnum Dipping section where you can dip your choice of Magnum ice cream into the signature Magnum chocolate specially flown in from Belgium!! You get to choose which premium topping you want! Ranging from pistachio nuts to honeycomb crumbs!



Before I could get my hands on one, the event started, so we were greeted by hosts Linda and Ollie!


Caught up with Christine who was rushing here and there!!


The official launch kicked off with... a mouthful of chocolate ice cream. How apt!

My ice cream for the night! I chose the Magnum Temptation Hazelnut that offered an explosion of flavour! A blend of vanilla ice cream with hazelnut sauce, caramelised hazelnut pieces and small chocolate bonbons filled with syrup and a hint of cinnamon... YUM.



The fruity ice cream also comes in vanilla ice cream, but with juicy cranberry pieces and dark chocolate chunks! Perfectly refreshing as an after dinner dessert!


Met Ai's daughter Chanel for the first time today! No picture with her though as she was happily high on chocolate :X Which also meant that she was running around.

It was extremely hot outside so we went into the dessert bar for some air-con... and more ice cream!



My custom made Magnum ice cream! I chose pistachio as my topping because... who can resist pistachio?!! I also chose vanilla ice cream on the inside and milk chocolate as my outer choc :D

Bumped into the muttons and pretty Jayne! Us looking super happy with our ice creams :)


Just before I left, I was introduced to Randall and Melody, and we all laughed about Ollie discovering instagram hahah. It was a fun night! Headed to The Studio Cocktail Bar for a drink after! I don't think you guys want to see pictures of me looking pink and acting cute so.. not going to post them here hahah.
